Czech Dungeon 1 was never finished. The final update (v1.04, "The Pardon") ended at Floor 24 with a door that required a "valid reason for leaving." No known player has ever found the key. Yet, its influence is undeniable: it directly inspired the "walking simulator" genre, the bureaucratic horror of Papers, Please , and even the endurance test of The Witness .
