As they deciphered the map, they stumbled upon a cryptic message: "Follow the black parasol to find the entrance." Rae, being the thrill-seeker that she was, couldn't resist the allure of the mystery.

Over dinner, we talked about everything from our travels to our personal struggles and triumphs. I was struck by the kindness and generosity of these two women, who had taken me under their wing and shown me a side of Thailand that I never would have experienced on my own. With Lil' Black as their guide, the trio descended into the underground tunnel system, navigating through narrow passages and abandoned infrastructure. They discovered hidden rooms, ancient artifacts, and cryptic graffiti adorning the walls.

As I prepared to leave Thailand and head back home, I knew that I would never forget this trip and the people I had met. Lil Black and Rae had shown me the beauty and kindness of the Thai people, and I felt changed forever by the experience. I was struck by the kindness and generosity

  1. several years ago I started with a 22 minute guided meditation. I did the same thing you did, Sarah. I rolled out of bed, went to my couch and sometimes fell asleep during the 22 minutes but eventually I stayed awake. I decided in the beginning I would do it for 21 days to form a habit. It only took a couple weeks before I noticed I was feeling something different. Upon thinking, I realized I felt content like everything was OK no matter what. I don’t meditate every day anymore but hopefully this will inspire me. I was feeling out of sorts this morning so I meditated for eight minutes. I was a new person at the end of the meditation, and the rest of my day has been great! ❤️
