While attempting to leave, 47 is informed by his handler, Diana Burnwood, that there was a witness to the killing: a woman named Nika Boronina. However, 47’s instincts tell him something is wrong. When he confronts Nika, he discovers she was Belicoff’s mistress but had never actually seen 47’s face. Realizing he has been set up by his own employers and a "double" of the President, 47 decides to protect Nika instead of killing her.
