Using original usbloader.bin files can erase the NAND flash, including your IMEI and serial number. Users are strongly advised to use usblsafe.bin to protect these values.
The device will then reconnect with a new VID/PID, ready for the next flashing tool.
Furthermore, the tool operates in a legal gray area. It utilizes proprietary USB protocols owned by Huawei without license. While using it to repair a personally owned device is generally accepted, using it to clone IMEI numbers or modify firmware on devices intended for resale crosses the line into fraud and intellectual property theft.
