Let’s rewind to 2019. Athiran was marketed as a period thriller set in the 1970s. The story follows Dr. Nair (Fahadh Faasil), a brilliant psychiatrist who arrives at a remote, misty estate in the high ranges of Kerala to evaluate an autistic, non-verbal young woman named Nithya (Sai Pallavi).
