Unlike standard online activation (which contacts Faronics’ servers automatically), offline activation uses a request-response system. You generate a "Computer ID" or "Request Code" from the offline machine, transfer that code to an internet-connected device, retrieve the corresponding Activation Code from Faronics, and manually enter it into the offline machine.
