: The <version> folder (e.g., 22.1 , 23.1 ) means that when you upgrade SmartGit, you may need to copy or migrate your license file to the new version folder. This is a frequent source of "license expired" errors after an update.
Transfer errors (especially via USB or email) can corrupt the .lic . Re-download the file from your syntevo account.
